The bride’s wedding dress was in the form of puff meringue, with huge puffed sleeves and a neckline made of silk taffeta, decorated with lace, hand embroidery, rhinestones and 10,000 pearls. The creators of this wedding dress are Elizabeth and David Emanuel, unknown until that moment, who woke up famous the next day. The dress had a 25-foot ivory taffeta train and antique lace.

In order to avoid any unforeseen cases, two more exact copies of the same dress were made. None of them were needed.

Diana’s wedding dress is considered one of the most famous wedding dresses in history. Prince Charles donned his full dress uniform of a naval commander for such a solemn occasion.
