Fan art: Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton inspire artists24.05.2022
Talented Australian artist Alexandra Nea Graham has published a series of sketches depicting Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle on her microblog. The author of the works saw such duchesses at the recent Wimbledon championship tournament, when tennis players Angelique Kerber and Serena Williams fought for victory on the court.
And the English artist Karina Olen draws sketches depicting not only Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle. In her work, we see the newborn Prince Louis and the wedding of Prince Harry .
The talented artist is a fan of the royal family and lives in Ireland. During an official visit to this country , Prince Harry and Meghan Markle received an unusual gift from 19-year-old Chloe Mullins . The girl handed the young spouses a portrait painted based on a photograph of the royal couple after the engagement.
The gift delighted the Duke and Duchess: their immediate reaction instantly made the photo with Harry and Meghan an event on the Web. And the prince even joked: “You drew me more hair!”. Her husband’s remark made Meghan Markle laugh.
Significant events in the life of members of the royal family – weddings, births and baptisms of children, going out and official tours – inspire artists of different countries and ages. Masters of brush and pencil, as well as devoted fans of the Windsor family, create their own sketches and share them on social networks.
